AMP system on CD back | x-author - cross media content management system | more |
Configuration | |
If you need to adjust the configuration to your specific needs all conf files are contained in the \conf directory. The start script recognizes two %%FIELDS%% which get replaced with the actual path information depending on your system. %%DRIVE%% | The drive letter of your CD-Rom drive. | %%LOGS%% | The path to the temporary logs directory on your hd. This path is %%TEMP%%/Apache. |
When WAMPonCD is configured to copy the database to hd to make it writable by putting the database.writable file into the root directory of the AMPonCD system the database will be copied to %%TEMP%%/Apache/database. PHP uses the %%LOGS%% directory to store its session files as well. Running AMPonCD
AMPonCD is started automatically when you insert the CD that contains the system. If it does not start run the start_.bat batch file. To stop the AMPonCD system run the stop.bat batch file. This will stop all daemons and delete all files from %%LOGS%%. Be sure to archive any changes to your databases and session files that you want to keep prior to stopping the AMPonCD system. Testing
Before you burn your CD it is a good idea to test your project. A good and simple way to test it is to create a virtual drive using SUBST X: C:\PATH\TO\WAMPonCD. Then change to that drive and run start_.bat back | x-author - cross media content management system | more |
